The 16th APRU Global Health Conference 2023 will be held in Mexico on October 25 – 27. The Conference is organized by the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Tecnológico de Monterrey in collaboration with the APRU Global Health Program. The theme of this year’s conference is “Equity in Health”. It is the first time that the Global Health annual conference will take place in Latin America. Submission
Abstracts must be submitted via the Abstract Submission Portal by June 30th, 2023.
Abstract Publication
All abstracts accepted for oral presentation will be published in the Journal of Public Health and Emergency (JPHE).
Student Poster Contest & Case Competition
There will be an annual Global Health Student Poster Contest and Virtual Case Competition in conjunction with the conference.
Global Health Student Poster Contest 2023
Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to submit their works to enter the APRU Global Health Student Poster competition as part of the APRU GH Conference 2023.Applicant must be current undergraduate or graduate students at the time of submission. Medical students also are eligible to apply. Post-doctoral students are not eligible.
Instructions
The poster must be related to global health and unpublished at the time of submission.
Collaborative poster presentations are acceptable; however, the first author must be a student.
Please indicate if the poster is being submitted by more than one student.
Only one submission per student (as first author) is allowed.
Only accept posters written in English, in a PDF format, and the poster size is 16:9
Global Health Student Virtual Case Competition 2023
Case competitions are increasingly popular around the world as a way for students to exercise critical thinking skills using a “real world” challenge. For this international, virtual competition, teams of 3-6 students will receive a challenge relating to a pressing global health problem.
Challenge of the Year is Bridging Barriers to Care: Reaching Urban Migrant Communities
Three videos will be chosen by an international panel of judges for the final round, which will be held as part of this annual Global Health Conference.
